For our second concert, performers well known on the St. Louis musical theater scene will help you kick off Valentines Day early by singing a variety of hit Broadway tunes that will be certain to make you smile!

Rose Fischer is a music teacher for the Ferguson-Florissant school district.  She has been a member of and a featured soloist with the St. Louis Women’s Chorale, the Cornerstone Chorale and Brass, Missouri Women’s Chorus, Songs of Africa Ensemble, and Confluence Chamber Orchestra. Rose has played supporting roles in several operas at Union Avenue Opera Theater for which she also served as assistant director for several years.  Ms. Fischer has been a board member for the Marianist Retreat and Conference Center and shares her talents with young performers, by co-directing the St. Genesius Musical Theater camp along with Julie Hickey.  Ms. Fischer is happy to be a part of the Marianist mission and happy to serve God through her musical talents.

Tim Schall has performed with many different theaters and concert venues around St. Louis including The Muny, Stages St. Louis, Union Avenue Opera, Mustard Seed Theater, Upstream Theater and more. He has performed his solo cabaret shows at The Sheldon Concert Hall, Kranzberg , Gaslight Cabaret Series and Jazz St. Louis.  When not performing he maintains a vocal studio for young singers and serves as the Executive Director of The Cabaret Project of St. Louis.

Julie Hickey has been working professionally in print, commercials, and on stage for such companies as Insight Theater, The New Jewish Theater, Upstage Productions and more.  She is happy to be able to perform in this concert, as it is cause and a place very dear to her heart!       Christopher Hickey has appeared with the Repertory Theater of St. Louis, the Shakespeare Festival, New Jewish Theatre, the Black Rep, Mustard Seed Theatre, and Upstream Theater, among many others.  A member of Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), he is happy to join MRCC for this very special event.
